Grant has been directing and producing film and television professionally for over twenty-five years. Grant’s most recent projects include ‘A Christmas Horror Story’, an anthology feature film for eOne, and the documentary ‘Balletlujah’ for the CBC about Alberta Ballet’s collaboration with k.d. lang. For his feature debut, Grant wrote, produced and directed the independent ‘American Beer’. He then produced and directed ‘Ginger Snaps: The Beginning’ for Lion’s Gate Entertainment, a prequel to the highly successful ‘Ginger Snaps’. Grant has also directed five movies for the Lifetime USA network. He has directed over fifty hours of episodic television, including 'Orphan Black', '12 Monkeys', ‘Helix’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, 'X-Company' and ‘Haven’. He directed the pilot episode of ‘The Best Years’ for Global/The N, as well as season openers of eOne’s ‘Bitten’, CBC’s ‘Heartland’ and 'X-Company, and the season finale of CTV/The N’s ‘Whistler’ – where he also acted as producer and series director. Grant also co-created, produced and directed the CBC youth program ‘From The Hip’. Grant has directed several BravoFACT projects and over twenty music videos. He recently directed four Heritage Minutes for Historica Canada, which commemorate Canada’s involvement in WWI. He has produced and directed over three hundred commercial campaigns in Canada and the U.S. He has earned numerous Canadian and international awards as a director, including “Best Director’ at the 2013 DGC Awards, and 2003 and 2004 AMPIA Awards. Grant lives in Toronto with his wife and children and is represented by Paradigm Talent Agency in Los Angeles and Ellipsis Entertainment Group in New York.
